Applications Engineer

Had significant product development responsibilities at this leading business-to-consumer e-marketplace.

• Program Management: Program Manager for web-content team, which consisted of other summer interns designing Web-based applications for this e-marketplace for online health insurance.
• Design: Designed and implemented web-based Health Insurance applications for various carriers (using HTML, Javascript and the Netscape Applicaion Server) that will get rolled out to various states in the U.S. Designed Java AppLogics to interface browser-based applications with a database on a back-end server

Marketing Application Engineer

Designed and implemented a suite of marketing demo applications for AlphaBlox's Product Evaluation CD.

• Design: Leveraged my UI and HTML/Javascript design skills to create the application layout for customer analytical applications, such as Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Revenue Analysis.
• Implementation: Implemented first the data model for the application on top of relational databases (MS-SQL and Oracle), and then the application and business logic in the application layer.
• Competitive Analysis: Did competitive analysis of other competing products evaluation and demos to ensure that key unique AlphaBlox product features were highlighted.

• Responsible for the operational stability and efficiency of the college's labs. Required an in-depth knowledge of Windows and Macintosh. Trouble-shoot hardware and software issues for students.

• Grade all projects of students enrolled in C++ Programming II Class. Assist students taking this class in programming and debugging problems during assigned office hours.
